I love playing games with the family, and this one is great for including kids as well! We were able to play the first time with six adults and two kids (9 and 12) and had a great time. The packaging is simple and compact. The rules are easy to follow, and the timer keeps everyone on task. The words that people came up with were so much better than I had expected, which kept everyone interested. It's a good game even for a large group, and since there are rounds, you can determine how long you want to play. I also like that the rules are written on a folded card that can stand be passed around a lot. You should consider keeping a small dictionary around since not everyone will have their phone available to search for words. We have a Quiddler (same company) one that works well. This is one of those games you will keep going back to because the directions are easy, and there aren't a zillion pieces.

Either this game is very easy to play or we are playing wrong. After a few hands, it is fun and goes quick. The only glitch is that if you have two players and one is just more of a word person than the other, the game can be boring.

My friends and I (young retirees), play card and board games often. We are usually trying out new games. This one is really fun and fast. A variety of ages will enjoy playing. The object is to be the first to get rid of all the cards you are dealt. To do this you must successfully use them on every turn by making a word with the last letter or last few letters in the “spiel” of cards being formed on the table. If you can’t do so you must take another card. There are a few other rules but it is basically as simple as that. Up to six can play. Looking for a new game? A stocking stuffer? Fun with the grands? Buy this.

Whole family loves this. Canberra a short game filling in a wait for dinner or several games for a longer period. Easy to learn, brings out the competitive side of your group! Fun.

I played this game recently at a games conference and I had to get a copy for myself. Very easy to learn as well as teach others, but the game itself offers a good vocabulary challenge. Scoring is easy to understand: Someone goes out, everyone else gets number of points equal to number of cards left in their hand. After 5 rounds (or a different number if you like), lowest score wins.

There is a 60 second digital timer included which seems like overkill, however I found it quite useful with my friends (and myself) who can "overthink" what they want to do, and it helps move the game along. I've played mostly with adults, but I think it would be fun for kids who are teenagers and older too. Highly recommend.

The reason it didn't get 5 stars and the reason it received 1 star for giftable is because the timer that came with it doesn't work. Nothing shows on the display and the thing just beeps nonstop for an hour. The actual game is fun to play . I only gave 3 stars for travel as it's not a game you'd play on a road trip. You need a good amt of table space as the cards are arranged in a circle. It grows larger as you play . However, it is an easy game to take somewhere. Just a deck of cards

I am a real person. This review is not from an AI, payed review, or seller giveaway.

I played this game with friends on a vacation trip. We liked it so much we bought our own set of cards to play at home. I am not a good speller and I can still win this game. I would say this game is not for kids just for the simple fact that adults have a better vocabulary.
